My experience with Essam Elsafy was phenomenal. My partner and I hired him to help us look for a new house. This was the first home that either of us were purchasing, at a time when market demands were high and bidding wars incredibly common. I was aiming to work with someone who had a reputation of being ethical, of being collaborative with realtors outside his or her company, of being well seasoned with real estate on the Northshore where I lived, of being well respected in the field. After poking around a bit and interviewing a different company, I was guided to Essam Elsafy and needed to look no farther. He met those criteria of mine and in addition was easy for me to work with. Although we did not work directly with Essam (we were the buyer and he represented the seller) all of our interactions (through Katie Gnau) were timely and professional. Given our previous experience with other firms, we were delighted with the turnaround time on communications with the seller and documents going back and forth. Overall, Shorewest's embracing of modern technology allow the whole team to work together and communications and documents turned around surprisingly quickly. We'd certainly look to them in the future to buy or sell in this area!
